She is part of a small team of plastic surgeons who service a group of high volume level I trauma centers in New York City, where she routinely handles a wide variety of acute traumatic injuries, ranging from amputations, to gunshot wounds, to compound facial and hand injuries.

As a breast surgery specialist, Dr Bartsich is proficient at both implant and autologous tissue breast reconstruction. She works closely with both general surgeons and oncologists to coordinate the optimal treatment plan for breast cancer patients based on their personal goals and reconstructive constraints.
