Dr Bartsich also performs all types of BREAST RECONSTRUCTION, all with state of the art techniques

Oncoplastic Reduction- The lumpectomy procedure is incorporated into a breast reduction in one stage, so that the patient undergoes the cancer operation and the reduction at once, and has the cosmetic result of a breast reduction.

Implant Based Reconstruction- The patient undergoes mastectomy followed by an implant reconstruction. This may happen in stages with a tissue expansion first, followed by the implant, or in one stage with a direct implant reconstruction at the same time as the mastectomy.

Flap Reconstruction- The patient undergoes mastectomy or lumpectomy and then requires reconstruction but does not want an implant. In these cases, if the patient is a candidate for it, the breast can be reconstructed with a flap, or tissue from the patient’s belly or back.

Special Devices- For breast reconstruction requiring tissue expansion, Dr Bartsich uses the Aeroform tissue expander.  This amazing device allows patients to expand themselves at home in weeks instead of months of doctor visit. The expansion is gradual, comfortable, and produces better quality skin and therefore a better reconstructive result.

STATE OF THE ART RECONSTRUCTION

As a breast surgery specialist, I am proficient in both implant and autologous tissue breast reconstruction. I work closely with both general surgeons and oncologists to coordinate the optimal treatment plan for breast cancer patients based on their personal goals and reconstructive constraints. I proudly offers tissue expansion with the revolutionary AEROFORM air expander, that allows patients to self-expand at home in a fraction of the time and with better results in terms of skin quality. Ask me about all of the newest technologies, and how they complement each other to help your journey to feeling whole again.
